WeighPro is a weighing system for hoppers, p-tanks, silos and pods. It gives you full insight into the contents of the tanks on your drilling installation, giving you full control over the basic ingredients for the cementing process. The system combines the information from each individual tank into one user-friendly interface that can be accessed on monitors throughout the facility, e.g. in the control room, the jacking house or on the bridge. It comes with a graphic interface that shows the status of each tank in either a quick or sectional overview, giving you clear insight into the contents of all tanks.
Besides being able to control the flow of the ingredients and take action on running low, the volume of the tanks can also be used as ballast during a rig move or when stabilizing a ship. Knowing the volume of each individual tank can be critical to a safe operation.
For each tank the settings can be changed according to what the tank will be holding. By entering the tank’s measurements and combining them with the density of the product and the zero weight of the tank, the actual volume inside the tank can be calculated and shown. Also for each tank the alarm settings can be adjusted to enhance safety and efficiency.
